Channeling My Inner Weird Al

Sung to the tune Blue on Black by Kenny Wayne Shepherd

White, oh, white and gold.
But some say that’s not so.
It went viral
This illusion that is optical

It’s blue and black, I don’t understand how
people see white and gold sometimes
Those people who do need to see an optician
Cause seeing those colors got no reason nor rhyme
You think that I am wrong, for seeing differently
Your brain is whacked
It’s blue and black!

Wait, oh now I see
It all depends on lighting
One million times it was shared
Don’t know why so many people cared

It’s blue and black, I don’t understand how
people see white and gold sometimes
Those people who do need to see an optician
Cause seeing those colors got no reason nor rhyme
You think that I am wrong, for seeing differently
Better take that back
IT’S BLUE AND BLACK!

It’s blue and black, it’s plainer than daylight
even my two-year-old sees it the same
Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
All these different people just playing mind games
If you swear it’s white and gold, a belief you shouldn’t hold
You’re gonna get some flack
IT’S BLUE AND BLACK!
